We work in a remote rural area in central Democratic Republic of the Congo, within the Sankuru province. The closest town is Lodja. Lodja is located 1000 miles from the capital city of Kinshasa.
Where We Work
The roads and water ways leading to Lodja are treacherous, making getting critical materials and goods in and out of the area a real challenge. The only reliable way in and out of the area is by plane, and the schedule of cargo and passenger planes can vary on a weekly basis. It is here, in Lodja, we stand our ground to help community survive and thrive.
